Family care unit

The CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital's family care unit functions as a rural walk-in clinic. Full-time staff consists of a family nurse practitioner and a unit coordinator. A medical director makes periodic visits, as well. In addition to primary care services, the staff offers patient education, health screenings and chronic care clinics. Cabrini Hospital's mobile mammography unit makes regular visits, and the "Shots for Tots" program is administered through the unit.
