Community services and outreach

CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital's Community Services Department is located in the Cabrini Mediplex, across from the hospital. Staff members coordinate community education programs on subjects such as childbirth and parenting, disease prevention and management, and adolescent and social issues. Community services department staff members serve as or provide speakers on various subjects to schools and community groups and facilitate a number of ongoing support groups.

Community outreach projects include the family care unit—a mobile clinic which travels to rural sites to provide primary medical service—and five school-based health centers.
