Genetics Clinic
For several years, Dr. Duane Superneau from Ochsner’s in New Orleans has provided a genetics specialty clinic on site at Cabrini. Dr. Superneau comes bi-monthly to see children and adults with genetic problems. He evaluates birth defects in children and hereditary disorders, including cancer. As well, he addresses family history concerns with couples related to reproduction and prenatal diagnoses. Having available genetics counseling available for our patients in central Louisiana has greatly enhanced women and children services. These clinics are held in the NICU clinic area.
