Neuro-orthopaedic nursing services

Six North Nursing Unit is specialized nursing care for patients with disease, injury, or significant impairment to muscles, bones, and joints. The nurses on 6 North are also specializing their skills to care for patients with nervous system dysfunction including seizure monitoring and stroke victims as well as the neuro surgery patient. Our emphasis is on continued education for our nurses through formal and informal programs, some taught by our physicians. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care to patients and to assist them in achieving the highest state of wellness and quality of life.
