Women's Pavilion

Women's Pavilion is a 24 bed unit specializing in the care of the female with obstetrical and gynecological diagnoses. All nursing staff is certified in pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation. A case manager works directly with the physicians and nurses in the plan and implementation of care for each patient admitted to Women's Pavilion.

A special bereavement-counseling program is available for those parents who have experienced the loss of a child. Women's Pavilion has certified bereavement counseling nurses who meet and support those patients who have experienced a loss before they are discharged. A support group is available and meets on a scheduled basis.

Each year, Women's Pavilion is proud to sponsor Women's Fest. This festival is planned and implemented with the needs and interests of women in Central Louisiana in mind. Local businesses and organizations are invited to share information and products at Women's Fest. Topics of all interests from women's hobbies to health issues are offered in several breakout sessions. Exhibitors are invited to open booths for display of a wide array of interests and topics. The fall festival is offered during the holiday season, and has been well received by women of all ages. This is a community service and free for all women in Central Louisiana.
